Atomic You is in open beta. If you've hit something broken or just want to share what's working, write to us — we read every message.
Common questions
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This wipes all your data from the device and removes any server-side data (sign-in, buddy pairing, anonymized streak metrics) within 24 hours. If you can't access the app, email us and we'll do it for you.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Your local habit data lives on the device, so uninstalling removes it. If you've enabled encrypted Google Drive backup, you can restore on reinstall. Otherwise, you'll start fresh.
Why does the app need Google Sign-In?
Two reasons: it lets the app remember you across reinstalls (so you don't lose your data), and it gives the buddy feature a stable identity for pairing. We don't use your Google account for anything else.
Can my buddy see my actual habits?
By default, no. Your buddy sees how many habits you've completed today (e.g. "3 of 4"), your current streak number, your name, and your profile photo. You can choose to share specific habits with your buddy by toggling "share with buddy" on individual habits — when you do, the habit's name, dimension, and streak become visible to your buddy, but the schedule, steps, implementation intention, and any reflections stay private.
Why is there no "work" identity?
Atomic You isn't a productivity tool. Work is something everyone manages differently and is well covered by other apps — we deliberately left it out so the app can focus on body, mind, rest, and relationships.
What if the AI generates a habit I don't like?
Tap "Try something different" at the bottom of any habit card during the plan preview. Pick a reason, and a new habit is generated for the same time slot. You can also swipe left to remove a habit, edit it, or replace it manually.
Is my data really private?
Habit content (names, intentions, reflections, daily logs) never leaves your device. Only minimal data — sign-in, buddy pairing, anonymized streak metrics — touches our servers. Read the full privacy policy for the long version.
When is iOS coming?
Android first, because it lets us iterate faster. iOS is on the roadmap once we've validated the core hypotheses with the Android beta.
How much will it cost?
The open beta is free. We'll figure out pricing once the product earns it — which we'll measure by whether you're still using it after a few weeks.
